In this journal entry, for #SepTandy2025, I'm working with my TRS-80 Model 3. I've had problems with the upper floppy ever since a subscriber sent me two OS boot disks for it. It seems to frequently fail to format and write to the drive, so I will be taking it apart and give it a thorough cleaning. Since I'll have the computer in pieces, I'm also going to replace the two internal power supplies RIFA caps -- I actually already removed the old one so all I'll be doing this time is soldering in the new ones.
