In this journal entry I'll be adding a gamepad controller to my ZX81 (Timex Sinclair 1000). This will be a direct-wired connection so the gamepad controller will be permanently attached. Then I'll demonstrated how fun it is playing one of my own games, Elite, using a more tactile responsive gamepad then what you'd get with the keyboard.
