In this quick clip I'll be showing a mouse I've been working on that can run on many retro computers from the 80s and 90s. Any computer supporting an Atari joystick port will be able to use this mouse as it transmits cursor keys for its movement in a purely mechanical fashion (i.e. no power required). I designed it because the QL doesn't have native support for a mouse, though does offer a variety of options that plug into the ROM or serial port and require driver software. This will let me control the ICE mouse pointer without giving up cursor key control (something that the mouse version of ICE, i.e. MICE, takes away).
