In this journal entry, for #AMayGA2023, I'll look at the difference between emulating a Mac directly via Basilisk II and double emulating via WinUAE running Shapeshifter. It turns out that WinUAE is faster even when having to do seemingly do twice as much work. See the surprising benchmark tests.
