EPA’s National Stormwater Calculator (SWC) is a software application tool that estimates the annual amount of rainwater and frequency of runoff from a specific site using green infrastructure as low impact development controls. Dr. Corinne Wiesner-Friedman is a Physical Scientist with the U.S. EPA in the Office of Research and Development in the Center for Environmental Solutions and Emergency Response working in the Integrated Water Resources Branch. Her background is in GIS and network-based approaches to predicting microbial loads in surface water, sediment, and wastewater. She currently manages EPA's National Stormwater Calculator and does research to improve the SWC as well as EPA's Stormwater Management Model.
