I came all the way from Spain to Belgium to be able to finally capture a video of an F-35 and Eurofighter flight displays (plus, the swiss Hornet and belgian Viper demo teams are a great hook too!). Funny story, back in 2020 I was planning to attend an airshow at Hill AFB where I would have been able to witness 'Beo' Wolfe fly her F-35, but you know what happened back then, so I haven't been able to watch the show until now. :') Still, 2 years later I got this fantastic opportunity to capture the USAF F-35A Lightning II performing this savage flight!
On Saturday it rained heavily all day and we had problems with the wet camera but still managed to salvage part of the flight. Still, the conditions were ideal because thanks to the rain the air was cold and humid and we got plenty of water condensation trails, not to mention the incredible sunset lighting to top it off! :D
The pilot, Major Kristin "Beo" Wolfe from the USAF 388th Fighter Wing really did the F-35 justice at the International Sanicole Airshow 2022!
The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II is an American family of single-seat, single-engine, all-weather stealth multirole combat aircraft, intended to perform both air superiority and strike roles. It is also able to provide electronic warfare and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities. The aircraft has three main variants: the conventional takeoff and landing (CTOL) F-35A, the short take-off and vertical-landing (STOVL) F-35B, and the carrier-based (CV/CATOBAR) F-35C. It is the second 5th gen fighter to enter US service and the first operational supersonic STOVL stealth fighter. The F-35 emphasizes low observability, advanced avionics and sensor data fusion that enable a high level of situational awareness and long range lethality. The USAF considers the aircraft its primary strike fighter for conducting suppression of enemy air defense (SEAD) missions, owing to the advanced sensors and mission systems.
While lacking the raw performance of the larger twin-engine F-22, the F-35 has kinematics competitive with fourth generation fighters such as the F-16 and F/A-18, especially with ordnance mounted because the F-35's internal weapons carriage eliminates parasitic drag from external stores. All variants have a top speed of Mach 1.6, attainable with full internal payload. The powerful F135 engine gives good subsonic acceleration and energy, with supersonic dash in afterburner. The large stabilitors, leading edge extensions and flaps, and canted rudders provide excellent high alpha characteristics, with a trimmed alpha of 50°. Relaxed stability and fly-by-wire controls provide excellent handling qualities and departure resistance. Having over double the F-16's internal fuel, the F-35 has a considerably greater combat radius, while stealth also enables a more efficient mission flight profile.
Stealth is a key aspect of the F-35's design, and radar cross-section (RCS) is minimized through careful shaping of the airframe and the use of radar-absorbent materials (RAM); visible measures to reduce RCS include alignment of edges, serration of skin panels, and the masking of the engine face and turbine. Additionally, the F-35's diverterless supersonic inlet (DSI) uses a compression bump and forward-swept cowl rather than a splitter gap or bleed system to divert the boundary layer away from the inlet duct, eliminating the diverter cavity and further reducing RCS. The F-35's stealth design took lessons learned from prior stealth aircraft; the F-35's radar-absorbent fibermat skin is more durable and requires less maintenance than older topcoats. The aircraft also has reduced infrared and visual signatures as well as strict controls of radio frequency emitters to prevent their detection. The F-35's stealth design is primarily focused on high-frequency X-band wavelengths; low-frequency radars can spot stealthy aircraft due to Rayleigh scattering, but such radars are also conspicuous, susceptible to clutter, and lack precision. To disguise its RCS, the aircraft can mount four Luneburg lens reflectors.

![Su-35 ALWAYS ON TOP!! ✈️ Всегда на высоте! 🔝🔝🔝 HD 60fps
The Freewing Su-35 just like its fullscale counterpart, it plainly destroys all the competition in extreme post-stall aerobatics, no questions asked! :)
This is a selection of the greatest scenes from 15 different flights that I carried out in late summer. Most of it is already published without music on my main channel (Airguardian), links below:
232-237: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxzY5-08O5U
238-243: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRrVwDU0M5I
244-247: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGKi22XDYVs
And I also made a couple other music-video edits with other scenes from these flight that you may want to check out: :)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sC8Kfk6LSg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t63fbF00kzc
Trivia: Always on top! (Всегда на высоте!) is a typical motto typically at the MAKS airshow and particularly with Sukhoi jets, mostly referring/bragging about their unmatched capability to take your breath away with mind-boggling maneuvers. :)
I wanted to make a proper Su-35 video edit to Hakens new album [Virus] since it came out but I was waiting for the right footage. I hope that these scenes will make it justice! :)
Flights 232nd to 247th on Lyuda.
Su-35 pilot: RC4ever
Ground video: Luis Ibáñez
Airfield: Club Aeromodelisme Els Cards
Music: Haken [Virus]

Regarding my SU-35 setup:
This is a fairly modded Freewing SU-35S. It includes a gyro for the TV nozzles to help perform extreme hover and high alpha maneuvers (Stabilizing functions are only turned on for particular maneuvers).
As for the jet itself, the SU-35S is well known for its supermaneuverability features, that are a result of a good aerodynamic design coupled with the use of thrust vectoring nozzless.
The pilot displays a few post-stall maneuvers using the TV nozzles that would be otherwise impossible to perform with a normal jet aircraft.

![Sergey Bogdan PLAYING with the SUKHOI SU-57 ✈️ MAKS 2015 [Remastered]
Sergey Bogdan (Сергей Богдан), Chief Test Pilot at Sukhoi, shows the world how to fly the Su-57! He almost seems to be playing with the jet, making it look so effortless while it performs seemingly impossible aerial stunts!
This is an old Su-57 video from MAKS 2015 with very cool shots that I wanted to remaster now that I have better tools (DaVinci Resolve) to allow you to experience that fantastic airshow in the best possible quality! :)
There was a problem with the audio recording so it came out pretty distorted, sorry about that, couldnt do anything about it!
The Sukhoi Su-57, previously designated T-50 (Сухой Су-57 / T-50) is a single-seat, twin-engine, stealth fighter aircraft with multirole capability but designed for air superiority and attack operations. This jet aircraft is the product of the PAK-FA (ПАК-ФА, Перспективный авиационный комплекс фронтовой авиации, literally Prospective Aviation Complex of Frontline Aviation), a fifth-generation fighter programme of the Russian Air Force. The first prototype performed the maiden flight on January 29, 2010. Deliveries of production aircraft to the Russian Air Force are expected to begin in 2018.
The fighter is intended to succeed the MiG-29 and Su-27 in the Russian Air Force and to serve as the basis for the Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft (FGFA) while complementing the recently built fleets of SU-35S and SU-30SM. The initial production batch are to be delivered with a highly upgraded variant of the AL-31F engine, extensively used by the Su-27 family while a totally new turbofan jet powerplant is being designed from scratch. In fact the first prototype of this engine has already been fitted into a SU-57 airframe and has already begun testing.
The Su-57 has a blended wing body fuselage and incorporates all-moving horizontal and vertical stabilizers. The aircraft incorporates thrust vectoring nozzles and has adjustable leading edge vortex controllers (LEVCONs) that improve high angle of attack behaviour. The advanced flight control system and thrust vectoring nozzles make the aircraft highly maneuverable in both pitch and yaw, enabling it to perform post-stall maneuvers such as the Pugachevs Cobra and the Bell maneuver, along with doing flat rotations with little altitude loss. The aircrafts high cruising speed and normal operating altitude is also expected to give it a significant kinematic advantage over older fighter jet generations.
