It was about time to make a new split screen video showing my hands on Tx while flying a jet! Many interesting things can be derived from this but note that the apparent 'shaky fingers' is not just a matter of jitters/adrenaline, but some of my flight commands and corrections actually do look like that (as in, several short-duration impulses instead of a prolonged stick deflection). Notice the fingers only 'shake' at certain parts of the flight, not throughout the entire thing ;)
Anyway, this was a pretty radical flight demonstration with the Gripen so it made for a perfect demonstration of what I'm doing down on the ground.
From cobras, backflips, loaded rolls and snappy maneuvers to upright and inverted flat spins, high speed slow rolls, high alpha, etc.
Hope that's helpful to some!
The video plays first in slow motion to better appreciate stick movements, then it's played back in real time to get a better grasp on duration of the inputs and throttle management.
Another cool thing to be appreciated in this video is gyro operation on canards as you can see them pitching down at many point where I am not physically pushing the nose down. I've explained that in more detail over the forums (Hobbysquawk/RCGroups), so you can find more info there.
Sit back and enjoy! :D
CG in here must have been around 32mm aft of what the manufacturer recommends.
Again, I am using an upgraded 8S 80mm Jetfan EDF with a 1865kv HET motor. I had to cover the cheater hole with a mosquito net to protect my expensive investment from an otherwise inevitable FOD considering the conditions of my gravel-dirt runway so the jet isn't even displaying it's full thrust potential. This obviously has an effect on performance and current draw. Sadly this setup is too amp hungry and can only get two and a half to three minute flights with throttle management and 3Ah packs. The batteries also struggle to deliver the amps, despite being Panther packs that are pretty heavy/capable. Overall the Jetfan is indeed an improvement in performance over stock setup, but the short resulting flight time kinda defeats the purpose, need to go to higher capacity batteries, and using lower-C packs to keep the weight in check.
These were flights 75th on 'Jana'.

![Sergey Bogdan PLAYING with the SUKHOI SU-57 ✈️ MAKS 2015 [Remastered]
Sergey Bogdan (Сергей Богдан), Chief Test Pilot at Sukhoi, shows the world how to fly the Su-57! He almost seems to be playing with the jet, making it look so effortless while it performs seemingly impossible aerial stunts!
This is an old Su-57 video from MAKS 2015 with very cool shots that I wanted to remaster now that I have better tools (DaVinci Resolve) to allow you to experience that fantastic airshow in the best possible quality! :)
There was a problem with the audio recording so it came out pretty distorted, sorry about that, couldnt do anything about it!
The Sukhoi Su-57, previously designated T-50 (Сухой Су-57 / T-50) is a single-seat, twin-engine, stealth fighter aircraft with multirole capability but designed for air superiority and attack operations. This jet aircraft is the product of the PAK-FA (ПАК-ФА, Перспективный авиационный комплекс фронтовой авиации, literally Prospective Aviation Complex of Frontline Aviation), a fifth-generation fighter programme of the Russian Air Force. The first prototype performed the maiden flight on January 29, 2010. Deliveries of production aircraft to the Russian Air Force are expected to begin in 2018.
The fighter is intended to succeed the MiG-29 and Su-27 in the Russian Air Force and to serve as the basis for the Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft (FGFA) while complementing the recently built fleets of SU-35S and SU-30SM. The initial production batch are to be delivered with a highly upgraded variant of the AL-31F engine, extensively used by the Su-27 family while a totally new turbofan jet powerplant is being designed from scratch. In fact the first prototype of this engine has already been fitted into a SU-57 airframe and has already begun testing.
The Su-57 has a blended wing body fuselage and incorporates all-moving horizontal and vertical stabilizers. The aircraft incorporates thrust vectoring nozzles and has adjustable leading edge vortex controllers (LEVCONs) that improve high angle of attack behaviour. The advanced flight control system and thrust vectoring nozzles make the aircraft highly maneuverable in both pitch and yaw, enabling it to perform post-stall maneuvers such as the Pugachevs Cobra and the Bell maneuver, along with doing flat rotations with little altitude loss. The aircrafts high cruising speed and normal operating altitude is also expected to give it a significant kinematic advantage over older fighter jet generations.
