U.S. Route 167 between Batesville and Bald Knob is a well-traveled stretch of highway connecting the Ozark foothills with the Arkansas Delta. The drive begins at the intersection with Myers Avenue in Batesville, immediately crossing the White River on a modern bridge that provides sweeping views of the waterway and the wooded banks along its edge. Once across, the highway enters Southside, where it passes the Batesville Regional Airport and threads through the heart of town. Here, drivers encounter a mix of local businesses and residential areas before reaching the crossroads with Arkansas Highway 14 Spur and AR-233.
Leaving Southside behind, the route opens into rolling farmland and light woodland as it makes its way south toward Pleasant Plains. This short eastbound segment of Interstate 70 through Columbus offers a focused look at how a major cross-country interstate functions inside a growing Midwestern metro. The footage was recorded in 2021, during a period when much of the downtown corridor was under construction, a factor that visibly influenced traffic flow, lane configurations, and the overall feel of the drive. Beginning at the western junction with I-270, the route immediately settles into a controlled-access urban expressway environment. Traffic density builds quickly, and the roadway reflects its dual role as both a long-haul freight artery and a daily commuter route. Concrete barriers, wide shoulders, temporary lane shifts, and layered interchanges define the opening miles as the highway presses east toward the city’s core.

Travel east on Interstate 70 from the Clear Creek Welcome Center near Terre Haute to Harding Street in Indianapolis on this 77-mile real-time drive across western and central Indiana. The video begins at the eastbound welcome center near the Illinois state line, providing a natural starting point for the journey into the Hoosier State. Reopened in November 2025, the redesigned welcome center highlights Indiana’s connection to automobile racing and introduces travelers to the state before they continue east toward Terre Haute and Indianapolis.
After leaving the welcome center, Interstate 70 passes along the southern side of Terre Haute and through the primary highway corridor serving the Wabash Valley. Connections with U.S. Route 41, State Road 641, and State Road 46 provide access to Terre Haute, surrounding communities, and destinations throughout western Indiana. State Road 641 forms a bypass between U.S. 41 and the I-70 corridor, helping move regional traffic around the more developed portions of Terre Haute. Beyond the city, the landscape quickly opens into a broad mixture of farmland, wooded areas, scattered homes, and small rural communities.
Continuing east, I-70 crosses the rolling countryside of west-central Indiana while passing near Brazil, Cloverdale, and numerous smaller towns. Interchanges connect the interstate with U.S. Route 231, State Road 59, State Road 243, and other highways serving communities away from the main corridor. Much of this section offers the familiar character of a Midwestern interstate drive, with long stretches of open terrain interrupted by wooded creek valleys, agricultural fields, roadside services, and occasional clusters of development near major exits.
The surroundings become increasingly developed as the highway approaches the Indianapolis metropolitan area. I-70 passes through the Plainfield area and crosses several important suburban routes, including State Road 267 and Ronald Reagan Parkway. Warehouses, distribution centers, hotels, and commercial development become more prominent along this busy western approach to Indianapolis. The route also provides access to Indianapolis International Airport before entering the city’s industrial and residential southwestern districts.
The video concludes at the Harding Street interchange, just west of central Indianapolis. From this point, Interstate 70 continues toward downtown, where it joins the city’s larger network of interstate highways. The segment of US-278 from Tupelo to Oxford begins at the interchange with the Natchez Trace Parkway, just southwest of Tupelo. Initially traveling west as a 4-lane divided highway, the highway turns northwest to pass Trace State Park and enter Pontotoc, where it intersects MS-15 and MS-9 at full interchanges.
Continuing northwest, Route 278 crosses MS-336 before passing the south side of Thaxton and other small towns along its northwest trek towards Oxford. At Oxford, the highway bends southwest at the intersection with MS-6 to become a by-pass around the south-side of town.
During this segment, the highway intersects several local roads at full interchanges, as well as a somewhat large interchange with Mississippi Highway 7.
Leaving Oxford, U.S. Route 278 continues west to the intersection with Mississippi Highway 113 (unsigned) where the segment of US-278 from Tupelo to Oxford ends.

Drive America’s Highways west along Interstate 40 for approximately 155 miles from Kodak to Lebanon, Tennessee. This segment of I-40 traverses a variety of Tennessee landscapes, starting just outside the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains and ending on the outskirts of the Nashville metropolitan area.
The video begins in Kodak at the interchange with Tennessee State Route 66, a major access route to Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. From this point, Interstate 40 continues westward, passing through the rolling hills and valleys that form the transitional zone between the Smoky Mountains and the Tennessee Valley.
Entering the Knoxville area, I-40 intersects Interstate 640, providing a northern bypass of downtown Knoxville. However, in this video, the route follows I-40 through the heart of Knoxville, crossing over the Holston River just before it joins the French Broad River to form the Tennessee River.
