In Runes of Virtue 2, you have to rescue the mayors and return them to their home town to collect the runes.
In Part 1 I took "The Easy Way." In the latter half of this video, I return to take the other way to get a free throwing ax. It's good to have one weapon that doesn't take stars to use.
The arrows that show up at 7:34 lead to minor prizes (hearts and stars.) I forgot how to activate them.
