Here's an in depth look at an AMAZING deal I just got on eBay of the Snugpak Tactical 2 sleeping bag. Its got some neat features that give it a ton of warmth without a ton of weight or bulk. The Steelplate exterior makes this bag extremely tough while being extremely water and wind resistant, the TS1 lining gives it a super soft and cozy interior that wicks moisture very well, and the Softie Premier insulation with Reflectatherm boosts its warmth to the next level.
Overall, I think the combination of materials used make this bag a great choice for anyone that's in the Military or that needs a high warmth to weight ratio while still being extremely durable. The Tactical 2 bag might even be a modern replacement for the green MSS patrol bag. SUnugpak also makes a Tactical 3 & 4 bag that has all the same features as the 2 , but have lower ratings.
