Many Owlworlds collide. The mantra that has formed and solidified across The Owl and Owlripper is 'Fastslowriffs Loudquietnoises Experimental Everything', and this album definitely fits into that category. It's all just sound, and if you like sounds that don't always do what you expect, then please lend me your ears and brains for a little while as I show you some Unrealistic Harmonies.
If you've been here a little while (or even following my sounds since before The Owl), then I guess you know to 'Unexpecthexpected'. If you've not... well, you're about to find out. My main objective with everything I make is to do things differently. It's been that way in bands since the end of the 90s, and it is even more prevalent in what I hope to achieve now. I don't mind if people don't like what I do, as long as they've never heard anything like it before.

The track videos both use Toshio Matsumoto films to add extra confusion and surrealism to the already 'out there' sounds.

Sounds began forming April 28th 2022 (riff-heavy bass jams, synth practices, discovering tiny shards of sounds that needing looping in various strange places). They resided in a few different folders and potential ideas, until the 'gathering up and squashing together' process, mixing, scriptwriting and overall concept was called complete on May 24th 2023.
