I believe every small thing we can do in-game at larp adds up to create massive immersion. Foraging for wild plants while playing is one of those small things.
In this video, Maxx takes you for foraging for Allium vineale or more commonly known as wild garlic, crow garlic, onion grass or stag's garlic. No matter where on Earth you are watching this video, you may have this lovely edible plant chillin right in your front yard.
It's considered basically a weed by most people, but I find since it's easily identified and I personally like garlic and onion tastes, so for me it's a fun thing to forage, plus I have tons of it in my yard.
If looking for this plant, it can be up to 3 feet tall depending on time of year and it'll have a round hollow leaf and smell like garlic or onions when cut. It eventually gets a purple flower on it also. There are other characteristics you can use to further determine this plant, and I suggest researching it.
For food, not everyone may care for it due to an aftertaste and for medicinal purposes it covers a litany of claims, like most natural remedies do.
But whether you are using this to grill up steaks or for witchcraft, Allium vineale is sure to please.
