The UNI-T UT210E is a very capable and affordable clamp meter, with a wide measuring range and illuminated display. It comes with a pair of test leads and a carrying pouch.
Right out of the box it can measure AC and DC currents up to 100A by clamp, as well as up to 600V AC/DC voltages by probing.
If your UT210E has a DM1106 chip, things can get very interesting. With this simple, solderless way of flashing the unit by John (aka Johnex) and the great work of the people over at EEVblog, you can quickly transform the UT210E into a beast of a clamp meter!
If it does not have the DM1106 chip, you can still modify its features and settings.
You will start seeing it more often from now on ;)

I was missing the drivers, and downloaded the CH341PAR file from here:
winchiphead.com/download
I downloaded the software for the CH341A programmer and followed the instructions from here:
https://tosiek.pl/ch341-eeprom-and-spi-flash-programmer/
Please proceed with caution and do this mod at your own risk. I followed the instructions available and it worked perfectly fine on my UT210E clamp meter. I used the settings and features JOHNEX used in his post, but you can look into the thread for the various options and choose according to your preference. Good luck!
