In Unholy Nightmare #3, the heroic monsters from the previous issues are assembled by the ancient vampire Vlad for a deadly mission: infiltrate The Chicago Field Museum and secure The Tome of Leviathan, an ancient book holding the key to unimaginable power.
But they are not the only ones hunting it. The nefarious Dr. Herbert West, The Re-Animator, seeks the Tome to raise an undead army and plunge humanity into darkness.
Can these monsters work together long enough to stop him? Is there a traitor in their midst? And what happens if the Tome of Leviathan falls into the wrong hands?
