DC Comics just published a comic featuring Harley Quinn shipping Batman and Superman as lovers.
It comes as no surprise that Tini Howard is the creator behind this story beat in Sirens: Love Hurts #3. What is surprising is that DC Comics would sign off on such a stupid idea. There is nothing to gain from adding this kind of nonsense to a throwaway book that nobody is reading. All this does is encourage the shipping community, who are notorious for their behavior toward characters and the creators who don’t “honor” their ships.
In Comics Aficionados #334, Wes and the panel discuss why DC or Marvel even hire Tini Howard anymore. Almost all of her comic runs are cancelled very early. She has no measurable fanbase to speak of and is constantly virtue signaling to the LGBT community using characters she had no part in creating.
