If you want to get started in motorcycling in the UK you will need to take and pass the CBT, or Compulsory Basic Training.

This is a one day course designed to teach you the essential skills required to safely ride a motorcycle on the roads.

But what does it consist of and what can you expect on the day? We spoke to Karen Davis from Phoenix Motorcycle Training to talk us through the day and give us some expert tips for new riders.
