Scrappy Kathy | Under the Sea || LOAD224 Day 28 || Scrap a Sketch Under the Sea Printables @scrappykathy | Uploaded February 2024 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
This page is for and about Johnny, my most favoritest subscriber and arguably the cutest. His mom Lisa designs all the sketches at Scrap a Sketch and she's the genius behind all the stencils and printables there. This page is done with ONLY the printables from Under the Sea, a collection especially designed for Johnny because he collects stuffed fish and loves anything to do with the sea. I separated Johnny and his fish from the photo background and dragged it into my desktop where I'd formatted a 12x12 canvas with two of the printable papers from the collection. Per the LOAD prompt I used hexagons in a tessellating structure along one side (it isn't really but I like using that word like a smart person). I just absolutely LOVE this page -- SO much fun building the undersea landscape all around that adorable smiling face!
The LOAD story prompt is about belonging and fitting in.....and I chose Johnny as my subject for this prompt because he and his mom and dad welcomed me like family when I was in England in 2022 and we instantly became family. I really really hope to visit there or for them to visit here someday soon before Johnny grows out of wanting to watch Scrappy Kathy when he gets home from school!
