Scrappy Kathy | Well Hello There || Nearly ALL the Calvinball Points on a Scrap a Sketch Premium Sketch @scrappykathy | Uploaded March 2024 | Updated October 2024, 9 minutes ago.
I've used this sketch before but this time I've turned and shifted it to allow for more dramatic mixed media and a single larger cluster in which to fit more Calvinball points. I've used lots of Vicki Boutin here along with tons of stash for a page showcasing similar silly photos of Allie and Ava at the same age -- about 3 1/2 in 2005 and 2011 respectively -- peeking out from under a table in Allie's case and a chair in Ava's case. They look SO alike and have the same smile!
I used all but a few of the possible points in Calvinball but I still managed two show off the photos, the mixed media and those gorgeous fussycut florals. This is a long video and it took me about 3 hours to hunt down and gather all the points from different areas of my stash. I added a few points from things I hadn't punched or die cut or printed but the vast majority of the points are here, tucked in so they don't look like a lot of clutter. Which they are!
Thanks for watching and I hope this inspires you to use more of your stash in whimsical ways that add to the playful look, especially on pages about kids and pets. I just love the "tone" of this page -- sort of like something a 3 1/2-year-old might come up with!
