Scrappy Kathy | Loveable || Mixed Media Mayhem || Background Stamp, Ink, 12x12 Stencil @scrappykathy | Uploaded April 2024 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
I will readily admit to taking the easy path for this layout -- LOTS of "life stuff" waiting for me when I got home Monday evening and I haven't had any crafting time at all since. I had to almost shovel the "retreat goodies" off my desk so I could do this page! Thankfully I'd done this week's series and hop videos and that I had this photo of Reese already printed! I used a Carabelle XXL stamp designed by Birgit Koopsen and a 12x12 stencil designed by Sandy Reverski for Scrapping Reflections and both Versafine and Distress Oxide inks. I also used layered floral stickers by Shimelle and a guest check that were part of the retreat "haul".
I love the XXL stencil because it looks like multiple layers of various smaller stamps and indeed, you COULD achieve the same effect doing it that way. Likewise smaller stencils could be used in the corners to get the effect I got with the 12x12.
I hope you're inspired to make something pretty today! Thanks for watching and I'll see you next time.... Meanwhile here's the Mixed Media Mayhem playlist for even more inspiration using this week's recipe: https://www.youtube.com/playlist...
