I was going to upload this originally and make it Unlisted so I could show my dad what game I was talking about, but to heck with it - I'll make it public.
I'm not good at vertical shmups. Under Defeat is not my favorite vertical shmup either - that honor belongs to Raiden V, but this is definitely my number two. I love this game. I used to own it on the PS3 and I was looking on Steam in April 2025 just for kicks - and I saw it listed! So I bought it immediately.
In the past I used to be able to get to stage 1-4 before I would die out all of my lives, but I'm not that good anymore. As of June 23rd, 2025, I can make it to 1-3 most times. Also - thank god for the slowdown! The game doesn't always do that for me, but when it did on Practice this time, I decided to save my replay and record it. Lucky me - I didn't even run into a bullet, hehe.
I'm going to play casually and for fun. I won't get good enough to 1cc this game, but I'll do my best and we'll see what happens. I hope you enjoy the video!!.
