King of the Hammers 2025 prep is underway, and this is what real test and tune looks like. Join the Wide Open Design team in Johnson Valley, California as we put an Ultra4 car, a brand new rock bouncer, and a tube chassis Polaris RZR through a full day of testing in brutal desert and rock conditions.

This video takes you behind the scenes as we focus on dialing in suspension performance ahead of the Ultra4 4400 race. From high-speed desert runs to technical rock crawling, every pass gives us real feedback to refine each setup. Watch as adjustments are made in real time to improve control, stability, and overall performance.

We’re also joined by Chris Weygandt from Diddy’s Big Block Race Shop, who works through compression and rebound tuning on the bypass shocks—helping us get everything race-ready for one of the toughest events in off-road racing.
