UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham exchanged messages with somebody impersonating one of Donald Trump’s closest advisers, according to people familiar with the matter. #uk #trump #news #usa #politics

Britain’s new premier communicated with someone posing as White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, the people familiar said, speaking on condition of anonymity. No messages of significance were exchanged and the suspicious activity was quickly reported to the authorities, they said.

“We do not comment on national security matters,” 10 Downing Street said in a statement. The communications were first reported by Politico on Monday morning.
