But is it really as bad as people say?
In this video, I take a closer look at opening weekends at Alton Towers and Blackpool Pleasure Beach, breaking down the issues people experienced and comparing that to my own visit.
From closed rides and staggered openings to staffing challenges and winter maintenance, we explore why these problems happen and whether they’re actually unavoidable.
But more importantly… are UK theme parks really the problem, or are we expecting too much from opening day?
