It’s the start of the 2026 season at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and I’m heading back to the park for opening day to see how the season is shaping up.
The park was extremely busy first thing in the morning, with huge crowds gathering outside the entrance before the gates even opened. With most rides running single-train operations early in the season, queues quickly built up across the park. Despite that, it was great to be back soaking up the atmosphere, catching up with other enthusiasts, and getting back on some of the park’s biggest rides.
In this vlog we ride Icon, experience Enso for just £5 during the March promotion, check out the new on-ride cameras on Ghost Train and Alice in Wonderland, and take a look at what’s new around the park for 2026.
So with big crowds, long queues and plenty of excitement in the air, the big question is… is the season off to a good start at Blackpool Pleasure Beach?
