In this video, I take a journey back through time to explore the oldest operating roller coasters in the world that you can still ride today. From rides that opened before the First World War to coasters that have survived fires, floods, earthquakes, and even wartime bombing, these attractions are still running against all odds.
Rather than just listing dates, I look at how these rides have survived, what makes them unique, and whether they’re still worth riding today. Along the way we’ll visit historic parks across Europe, the United States, and Australia — and end with the oldest operating roller coaster on the planet.
