In this episode of the tutorial series on "Reactive Turn Based Combat" in unreal engine based on the game "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33", we are going to add damage numbers to attacks. Here as characters get hit and receive damage, we see their healthbar deplete and as that happens, a number that represents the amount of damage received will pop up and fade out as it moves up.
