In this video, UDoIt reviews a powered hydraulic rebar cutter manufactured by Anbull. I've always cut my rebar with my chop saw so this is a new piece of equipment that will be very useful for me in concrete work. This product was provided to U Do It for review.
Cutting through the rebar was very quick and clean compared to using a chop saw. The cutting was not sped up and you can see how long it took. I wore my face shield while using it in case any pieces flew up. Although I didn't experience any issues, it is highly recommended to wear the appropriate PPE.
The rebar cutter utilizes a powered hydraulic ram to cut up to 3/4 inch rebar. In this video I demonstrate cutting 1/2-inch rebar easily with this product. It comes with a metal case, which I appreciate over plastic ones. It's good, because this product weighs 44 pounds.
