The UAZ division of SeverstalAvto in Ulyanovsk, Russia, manufactures the mid-size body-on-frame SUV known as the UAZ Patriot (UAZ-3163). The earlier UAZ Simbir was replaced by it when it was debuted in 2005. (UAZ-3162). Using a lot of modern components, having a lot of hauling capacity, having outstanding off-road performance, and being reasonably priced at $15,000 USD expected strong sales in Russia. In 2007, there were 12,011 units sold.
The Vehicle seats five passengers comfortably and has a load capacity of roughly 200 kilograms (440 lb).
