Skoda Octavia model year 2018.
The backbone of KODA's global production network is Mladá Boleslav. From this production facility, more over half of all KODA automobiles produced worldwide to date have been produced. Particularly since the company partnered with the Volkswagen Group in 1991, the property has undergone extensive refurbishment. Since then, 7.8 million vehicles have been produced there, including more than 309,000 Rapids, over 3.3 million Octavias, and roughly 2.8 million Fabias.
The Mladá Boleslav facility is crucial to the current model promotion for KODA. Prior to the 2012 production launches of the Octavia/Octavia Combi, Rapid/Rapid Spaceback, and Fabia/Fabia Combi models, one of the largest modernization and extension projects in the site's history was launched. Production line I's daily output increased from 800 to 1200 automobiles. Also constructed were a brand-new auto body shop and an entirely automated paint facility. A brand-new, environmentally friendly press line started running in 2013. By the start of 2017, there will also be a second new press line.
The best factory for KODA is located in Mladá Boleslav on Václav Klement Road. The 120-year success story of the Czech company begins here. The two founders of KODA, Laurin and Klement, started building bicycles in 1895, then motorbikes, and finally their first vehicle in 1905, all within walking distance of the current manufacturing facility.
