The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is located in Abu Dhabi which is about one hour drive from Dubai. It was well worth the trip! The Grand Mosque is truly a sight to behold. You can tour the mosque on your own, but we recommend that you go on the free one hour tour to learn more about the history and architecture of the mosque.
