Our last day on Vancouver Island was spent enjoying three of the many trails of this beautiful place. Seal Bay Nature Park in Comox Valley has a pretty easy hiking trail to the pebble beach where you can see seals and mountains in the distance. We had our packed lunch on one of the logs and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the flowing water.
Paradise Meadows in Strathcona Provinical Park has a 2km boardwalk and then hard-packed gravel which makes this section of the park wheelchair accessible. You can continue to a more challenging hike and check out the lakes around the area.
The hike in Nymph Falls Provincial Park is a quick one to the breathtaking waterfalls where in the Fall, you can see salmon spawning and swimming upstream.
