Every August, Tweetsie Railroad holds their annual railroad Heritage Weekend. It's a great time for railfans alike to visit the park since Tweetsie fires up both of their historic narrow gauge steam locomotives for the weekend. Ex. East Tennessee & Western North Carolina #12, and ex. United States Army Training Corps. ex. White Pass & Yukon #190.
