NC Transportation Museum: Membership Day 5-14-2022. After an unexpected turn of events, we were able to make our way down to the NC Transportation Museum for their annual Membership Day. We were not expecting to make it this year, but after realizing the time of what I had going on, we decided to make our way to the museum, and we're glad we did.
As far as everything involving the operations, it was roughly the same as last year, but the power for the passenger train was BMH #1860, and the photo freight train sold caboose tickets (of which there were four of them) giving visitors the opportunity to ride behind a real freight train.
The museum also had certain pieces of rolling stock open for tours when they normally wouldn't be. Certain locomotives were displayed outside the roundhouse.
