Sam and I hunted in WI in a new area of public land to us. This area was vast, with likely lower turkey densities, but also lower hunting pressure and room to roam. After hunting much of the morning with little luck getting close to birds, we relocated to the point where we finally found a pretty great looking area. By doing some blind calling early afternoon, we were able to strike up a pair of gobblers and bring them into our setup.
