I finally decided to build a set of legitimate climbing sticks. This DIY project was intended to put my ideal set of features into a climbing stick. It is similar to a Lone Wolf in that it uses Lone Wolf V-brackets and a modified versa button; however, it uses a double step design, with two steps per stick, similar to a Muddy Pro stick. Amsteel rope is used to attach the sticks to the. With these sticks and aiders, I'm able to climb to 24 feet in a matter of minutes, with a total package of three sticks weighing 6.0 pounds.
