Overall cost of this target will vary widely based on your lumber costs and stuffing costs. I put over 75lb of fleece blankets and other clothing into the 48"x48"x12" volume, which ended up costing nearly $75 and was more expensive than the wood to build the frame. Buying a long piece of lumber and having the hardware store cut it to length is likely your best bet for lumber.
