Do LS7 & LS9 Cams make good turbo cams? Here is real talk! The LS7 and LS9 cams are the most powerful factory LS cams going. They make almost identical power and are worth 50+ hp over a stock LM7 cam. The problem is, they also lose 50 lbs-ft of torque down low. Check out the NA power curves and see where you want your boost and response. The 50 extra lbs-ft offered by the LM7 cam would provide much better boost response and more power down low. The 50 extra horsepower up top would make more power at any given boost level. The question is, where do you want your power? If you want more response (or a cam that is better than either of these stock cams at every rpm), check out the new turbos.
