Welcome to the fourth video in the Tuning iNav Explained series. In this video, Marc and I look at the Advanced Tuning page in iNav; going through the settings that can be used to tune the plane in autonomous flight. Following on from that, we take a closer look at the in-flight tuning OSD, which is a part of the INAV Fixed Wing Group Pro OpenTX model (link below). Marc discusses the adjustments and also the data visible to you.
If you would like to use a full tuning OSD like this, but don’t want to use the IFWG Pro model. This tutorial youtu.be/A5i0gs9LfE8 will show you how to create a similar setup. Or take a look at my transmitter model setup video youtu.be/CuY_fLYoJNA, as the in-flight adjustments are implemented in the exact same way. Just take the CLI related to OSD and adjustments from https://www.INAVFixedWingGroup.com.
If you have any questions, please feel free to leave them in the comments. We'll see if we can cover things in future video, especially if they may benefit a lot of people. Please head over to Marc's channel and subscribe. He has a lot of great, technical videos. His channel is primarily in German, but a lot of his videos also have English subtitles. youtube.com/c/b14ckyysTech

As you can see from the second to last chapter. This will be the last video in the series for a little while. Tuning iNav Explained will return once iNav 3.0 has been released. This version has a lot of improvements, especially for fixed wing pilots and for tuning. They include automatic board pitch alignment, automatic rates calculation, an PIDFF controller, and improvements for horizon drift.
Apologies for the echoes in some parts of the video. Marc and I will be trying a different setup with the sound recording for the next videos, to try and eliminate this completely.
If you found the video useful, I'd appreciate a thumbs up. This will help YouTube share this video with other RC pilots who may find it helpful. In this video we take a look at the Caddx Walksnail Avatar HD FPV video system.
If you know me from social media, you may also know that I am not the biggest supporter of HD. Dont get me wrong, the image is amazing, and a big improvement over analogue. But for me, there is so much more to an FPV video system than just the image quality. The OSD, range, penetration, flexibility of installation, cost, and how much the company listen to the community are all just as important.
However, over the last few months, it seems that HD FPV video systems are getting much closer to where the meet more of the requirements than dont. So I was certainly paying more attention to them.
I had the opportunity to get an Avatar set, to work on INAV. So I thought these goggles and VTx were provided by Caddx for that purpose. But, I figured while I had them, I may as well check them out and give you my feedback.
[NOTE] I have spotted an error in the table I show comparing the different HD FPV options. In the range column for DJI + WTF it should still be 2, the same as regular DJI. So the total for DJI + WTF is 29.

![FrSky R9 RXSR Pilot Flight Controller
In this video we take a look at the FrSky R9 Pilot Flight Controller. This is a pretty interesting flight controller for a couple of reasons. Firstly, you can get it with either an R9MM or RXSR receiver on board. Secondly, this is currently the only F765 based flight controller that uses the pixel OSD. Would this flight controller suit your needs? Lets take a look.
[Update] The LED target variation mentioned in this video is now included with iNav 3.0.0 onwards.
