Is Toyota's 1GZ-FE V12 a good engine? Can the Rods handle Boost? We've got Nathan's 1978 SWB 40 Series LandCruiser on the dyno at Knight Family Motorsport to tune the newly Wired Haltech Elite 2500 and decide how much power We think is suitable for a Turbocharged Stock Unopened engine.
We had already had a false start the week before due to some transfer case issues but with that all sorted we are ready to go.
The tuning process on a stock bottom end engine with known strength issues is a little different to a built engine and Kye from KFM talks us through how to get the most power without risking rod breakage.
