Road Trip Drag Challenge #1 2024 - Warwick Dragway KFM - Knight Family Motorsport 2024-04-11 | We headed to Warwick Dragway for the first Road Trip Drag Challenge of 2024 in less than optimal weather conditions. The event was unfortunately rained out part way through Day 1, we got a full scheduled day for Day 2 and then racing was called off on Day 3 due to the weather again. Pauli's super tough LS1 Turbo Gemini, this is another budget oriented build utilising a stock bottom end GEN4 LS1, Pulsar Turbo, TH400, 9 inch diff and a Link G4+ Thunder ECU. It wouldn't be possible without a team of great people behind each of these builds and we would like to thank... Kenda Drag Radial Series - April 2022 - Race Recap KFM - Knight Family Motorsport 2022-05-01 | We recently went to the Kenda Tires Drag Radial Series. We had an amazing time running Jack and Mark's cars. The track was killer as it always is and the atmosphere was awesome hanging out with all of our mates and fellow racers.Both cars where entered into the OG275 class, this class is designed for more street style cars. The class requires cars to be 'able' to be registered, complete a 50km road cruise and have a full street style interior. This class also has a soft cutoff of 4.60 seconds in the 1/8th mile.Mark's Torana Hatch has been evolving over the last few years and Matt Rogan put in some work recently that allowed the car to pass IHRA tech.This was the vehicles competition debut and we where pleased with the results so far. The best run of the weekend was 5.42 @ 134mph, we put the car on the scales while we were at the track and it is tipping the scales at 3500lbs. Some chassis updates are planned for the near future and we are excited to see where we can go with this budget oriented combo.Jack's Nova went really well also, we managed to reset the cars PB twice over the weekend with the best pass being the last pass of the night being a 5.08 @ 139mph.Next planned event for us is the Addictive Events - Road Trip Drag Challenge 'Autumn Edition'.
Lakeside No Prep 1/8th Mile Drags 3/4/2022 KFM - Knight Family Motorsport 2022-04-25 | Took Mark's hatch down to the Lakeside No Prep 1/8th Mile drags and ended up getting lucky and coming away with the win.With lots of rain lately in SEQLD the front straight was extra greasy and proved to be quiet the challenge to get down.Lots of data collected and some more areas found to improve on for next time!
