Tropical Cyclone Narelle has now gone through two landfalls as it continues its epic journey right across northern Australia, including a savage landfall in a remote area of Cape York Peninsula, northern Queensland at category 4 intensity on the Australian scale in the early on 20 March followed by a second landfall at category 3 near Point Arrowsmith on the Northern Territory east coast after crossing the Gulf of Carpentaria. It is currently dumping tons of rain over interior Northern Territory and forecast to continue west, tap into Timor Sea energy and menace the Western Australia coast.
