After an extremely destructive landfall on eastern Madagascar, Tropical Cyclone Gezani has crossed the island and is now intensifying rapidly in the warm and notoriously dangerous Mozambique Channel. Gezani is moving west-southwest at around 20 kilometres per hour towards the southern Mozambique coast. The weather models agree on the continued intensification but DO NOT AGREE as to whether the system is going to make landfall in Inhambane Province.
