Review of FlushKnife BTs 1.5 for POEM!
POEM stands for Per oral endoscopic myotomy, which is a minimal invasive treatment for achalasia. The main instrument used for this procedure is the Triangle Knife by Olympus or the ERBEJet Knife by ERBE. This video demonstrates the use of of another commonly used knife for ESD, called Flush Knife BTs 1.5 mm. This knife has precision, it is safe, but has a smaller blade and therefore the myotomy is performed with a slower pace.
