This is how we wash and disinfect fruits and vegetables in Mexico. During four months of traveling in Mexico, we’ve used several different products to clean produce. All of the solutions we use are similar and require washing and soaking. Since tap water in Mexico is generally non-potable, simply washing fruits and veggies under the tap isn’t enough.
