Rotary Banded Hip Rotations for hip stabilization strength. GREAT exercise for athletes (not hypertrophy).

After posting that two-banded rotary rotator cuff exercise, I had a great question from somebody asking if it could work with the legs, too.

The answer is YES... and it actually feels awesome.

This could be used with very light bands for rehab work and heavier bands (like I'm using) for building strength in the stabilizing muscles.

When doing this one, focus on originating the movement with rotation at the hip joint.

For setup, I've got a pair light/medium bands looped around the rack rails. Both the rails are set about hip height.
