Similar to last year BDZ (Bulgarian State Railways) organized some Christmas trains, but this time to two locations - Pernik and Bankya. This year the steam loco which hauled the trains was the Swiss veteran 01.23. On Saturday (16.12) the 88-year old loco hauled successfully a 4-car train to Pernik through Voluyak and Razmenna stations (the freight line) going towards, and through Vladaya (the passenger line) when was going back to Sofia. It was an interesting view as the weather was pretty snowy. Also, to see a steam loco climbing the 25 ‰ gradient towards Vladaya passage was quite impressive too!
And on the next day (17.12) 01.23 hauled twice special trains to the well known destination - Bankya, near Sofia. The consists of the train was increased to 6 carriages, which the steam loco pull without any problems to the small town, famous with the mineral water springs.

Подобно на миналата година БДЖ орнаизира Коледни атракционни влакове, като този път дестинациите бяха 2 - Перник и Банкя. Тази година парният локомотив, който обслужи влаковете бе швейцарския ветеран 01.23. В събота (16.12) 88-годишния локомотив обслужи успешно 4-вагонен влак до Перник през гарите Волуяк и Разменна на отиване и през Владая на връщане. Парният локомотив в съчетание със снежната обстановка беше красива гледка, а още по-величествено бе да се наблюдава как се изкачва по Владайския баир.
На следващия ден (17.12) 01.23 обслужи 2 чифта влакове до добре познатата дестинация Банкя. Състава на влака бе увеличен до 6 вагона, които локомотива докара без проблеми до малкия град, известен със своите минерални извори.
