58 249 currently is the only operating locomotive type TGM6 in Bulgaria. In the past the loco was a part of the big locomotive fleet of Kremikovtsi metallurgical plant. After the liquidation of the giant, the loco was stored for many years together with another TGM6 and TEM2 locomotives. In 2022 this unit was restored and returned in service by BG-Evro (Euroengineering - Stara Zagora) and classified in series 58. Later the locomotive was acquired by another private company - BG-ZHPS, еngaged in construction and repairs of railway facilities. In the video the locomotive is passing through recently reopened railway line between Svetovrachane and Kurilo stations near Sofia with maintenance train towards Svoge station in the Iskar gorge which was under reconstruction at this time (August 2023).

В момента локомотив 58 249 е единственият в движение в България от типа ТГМ6. В по-далечното минало той бе част от локомотивния парк на металургичния гигант Кремиковци. След ликвидацията му, локомотивът е запазен заедно с още няколко ТГМ6 и ТЕМ2. През 2022 г. този екземпляр бе възстановен и приведен в движение от Евроенжинеринг - Стара Загора и класифициран в серия 58. По-късно локомотива е продаден на друга частна компания за железопътно строителство и ремонти - BG-ZHPS. Във видеото локомотивът преминава по наскоро отворената отсечка от Световрачане до Курило с ремонтен влак, в посога гара Своге, която бе все още в ремонт по това време (август 2023 г.).
