Potters Bar is an intermediate station on the East Coast Main Line and probably my most visited station by a long shot. Potters Bar never fails to disappoint and this time was no exception.
We dropped in at the station for a particularly juicy hour of movements including an ex-Gatwick Express Class 387, LNER's Class 91 91110 "Skyfall" and the star of the show was the final Class 365 to depart Hornsey EMUD on its voyage up to store in Doncaster Belmont Yard behind a Class 37!
Potters Bar, highly recommendable due to the unobstructed views to the fast lines. With a good lens, from the northern end of the platform looking southbound you can get some great shots as the station is built on a slight curve and gradient.
