Hi Guys and Gals I know it's been a while but I have been super busy with other stuff but have finally decided to make time for a review!
Well this is an item I've wanted for quite some time especially to customize! It's Fiery Flynn from Trackmaster revolution!
So a good friend in New Zealand bought this for me and shipped it over to Australia and I am very happy with it indeed! This Flynn I believe has the most accurate proportions to a real fire engine and it looks fantastic in hand.
The chassis is slightly different from other Trackmaster 2 locos as the front wheels are attached to the bodyshell and not the chassis, it has a respectable amount of paint applications and will serve as a great basis for a custom and I have something wild in mind I think you guys and Gals in youtube land are going to like it :)
The Flynn runs on 2xAAA batteries which seemed to run out quite fast and he was consiberably slower after about 8-9 laps of the layout, he was also surging and making a weird noise so will have to give that a look after. He certainly runs well enough and as he is a fire engine I didn't feel the need to add weights or change couplings this time around but the usual blue track mod was required (filing down the activation tab).
I think this is the best looking Trackmaster 2 release thus far and I highly recommend this Flynn if you are looking to get one.
I give it a 9/10 if it had of run slightly better then I would have given it a 10 as it looks fantastic in person.
