Hi Guys and Gals Here we have a pair of the iron twins that seems to have slipped under the radar for most with the Trackmaster 2 line seeming to take all the attention away from regular releases such as these.
Well I got this pair on ebay last week and very happy they arrived! I love the redesign of Diesel and the release of Paxton and I am very happy to see this pair getting the great redesign treatment!
So these are almost identical as they are twins :P the differences are very subtle and limited to the facial expression and the name under the chassis only. Both run on a single AA battery located under the body shell and the battery runs a flat type drive unit which you should all be familiar with by now as they have been very solid reliable units and not to forget they are very easy to modify with a faster/more powerful motor :).

So how do they run? actually very well and very fast! they passed everything else on the track several times and are the fastest out of the box locos I have seen since Trackmaster Connor! Both performed well pulling their respective trains, the only time I had to adjust the trains was when Arry started to become much faster than Bert!
I give the 2014 Trackmaster Iron twins a score of 9.5/10 they are brilliant in almost every way! they could have added some weight but I will do that myself and possibly add rods that move :D
